The best part is, I don't think the the guitarist from Devo ever did that - he might be the only rock guitarist who never did. It's fucking Devo, I doubt they list Thin Lizzy, Krokus and Mott the Hoople as influences (random sampling of most popular answers from 80s metal hair band interviews. MY SUBSCRIPTIONS TO RIP AND HIT PARADER ARE VALIDATED).
