Anyways, since you fags apparently don't know shit about Devo, Bob Mothersbaugh definitely did do that in Men That Make The Music. The point of that long-forgotten-until-now reference was that A: Richard Linklater and Mike White have almost definitely seen the Devo concert film since their big indie film/rock nerds, and B: the kid looks exactly like Bob Mothersbaugh, and it was shot from the same angle and in the same way. I would *like* to think that they were privately trying to retain some level of not-terribleness through that kind of reference, though it probably isn't so. Why would you haters want to disabuse me of my comforting fantasies?
