Ok, FF8. First of all, all the enemies level up as you do, but they increase in strength just a teeny wee bit faster (expecting that you can get better weapons). SO! The best way to play the game is to run away from everyone and only fight obligatory battles, because you will never be over leveled, and you will never encounter anyone too strong or too weak for you because everything is the same fucking level. Secondly, there are few items. I forget but there may have been TWO item slots (weapon and armor), possibly less. The point is, this game is like an interactive novel with a shitty plot, because there is no reason to waste your time battling. Seriously, the higher level you are at the last boss the more insanely difficult she becomes. Don't play it.
