| and out of Monty, too. He's one funny fucker. Kthor, Hokie, Erik, Chet - in a good mood - , Subcom, Spanky, Numsey, HSW, Didcot, all funny. Even that one time I got to talk to Umberto was entertaining.
I wish Chet would email the old omm forum archives to ICJ so I could painstakingly repost them. Somehow I don't think they'd be as funny if I tried to recreate them from memory. On the other hand, it turns out it's not as hard to be funny on the internet as you'd expect, given the amount of unfunny shit out there. Creex's AMH, unlike his posts, are funny more often than Penny Arcade...slight compliment there, but you see my point. Even that Curt Schilling guy who plays for the Red Sox is funny in IRC. Whether these people are witty IRL or if certain personalities are somehow magnified on the internet, there's no question OMM had a lot of standouts. We sure were lucky back then. /jeep/ |
