Actually what made BFME suck was pretty much everything except the presentation and production value. A complete lack of variety in unit types, the extreme brokeness of upgrades that quintupled a unit's strength instantly, the extreme brokeness of heroes, and the extreme suck of Mordor.

Oh yeah, one more deal breaker: you could constantly send your squads back to base to quickly heal back up to full strength at zero cost, destroying the cost-effeciency war vital to all good RTS's. So that's another thing in common with Kohan too. It's obvious BFME was made for people who had never played an RTS before, so both were RTS's for people who suck at RTS games. |
