Damn Yankees!
This wasn't me.
Tim McCarver and Joe Buck are the worst broadcast team ever. Ever.
I'd like to have Fox do their game of the week with different broadcast teams from around the country, so we could all enjoy the Phillies play-by-play guy (the voice of those "Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field" NFL Films) and then maybe you-all could enjoy the umpire-taunting stylings of Sean McDonough and Jerry Remy.
Since Fox started doing sports, which they're about as good at as they are at regular news, you hit the playoffs and if ESPN isn't carrying your game, you're fucked.
Also I'd like to point out that we aren't worthy of the caliber of this series. It's not the two best teams in history or anything, and Fox is doing its level best to wreck it, but these teams are absolutely kicking the shit out of each other, and neither will concede victory. Tonight's starting pitcher for the Red Sox let the medical staff stitch his skin directly to a ligament in his ankle so he could play, shut the MFY down, and then afterwards thanked God that he was able to just be involved in the series at all. Tomorrow night is the first Game 7 forced by 3 consecutive elimination games in baseball's long tarnished history.
After they lost Game 3, I was thinking 'how bout them Patriots?' but fuck them, the Red Sox have hooked me again. I can worry about 20 game winning streaks later.
