I said "yeah I get that alot" so quietly that she could pretend not to have heard. Or maybe I just thought it, I guess we'll never know. As I walked out I slung the bag over my shoulder like Mark Wahlberg in a promotional photo for Guitar Hero: The Movie. I held my head high and swaggered like that all the way to the parking lot. I had never felt so cool in my life. It kinda took the edge off the whole experience, though, when I had to wait around for twenty minutes until my mom came back and unlocked the Datsun. Still, I'm glad I have the thing.
