Well, in my defense, they all kind of look fuzzy on the SyncMaster. Adjusting otherwise is like adding A-1 to a Whopper. But I think what I meant to say was that I moved the default resolution to 800x600 and then brought it up or down on a game by game basis.

Moving to the MAMEWah frontend is a hassle, but really pays off in several areas, one of which is the MAME Resolution Tool. You can configure your monitor resolution to correspond to any game resolution -- and you configure by resolution NOT by game, so it's a 10 minute process, once.
