they just made it like a million other spy and casino movies by co2 12/18/2006, 3:54pm PST Craig was a great bond, i'll give you that, he even got my fiance's vote of approval because he's typically been in the artsy-fartsy shit she watches. There's a million secret agent movies with running, fast cars and even gambling, but one of the things that has always made it a bond movie for me is classy gadgets. Not the cheesy shit that they went with in recent movies like the abysmal last few, I'm talking about cars with ejector seats, pens that shoot, and even the funny, "it's a felix lighter'. Too pc as well, I miss connery era sexism - it seems like they're trying to make it appeal more to women which will never really happen anyway so they should just put some of it back. There wasn't even a silouette of a woman in the opening sequence, what shit is that? The movie was fine but lasted too long or perhaps seemed that way because it felt a bit anticlimactic towards the end (though perhaps my weed buzz was just wearing off by that point). There was a point after one of the last fight scenes that I put on my jacket thinking it was almost over and then sweated it out for another twenty minutes, as if it was the last Lord of the Rings movie.
