I'm looking for a Fantasy General replacement now that XP can't run in that great (DOS-box turns the mouse sensitivity so low that it takes five complete swipes to move the cursor the length of the screen, windows mode introduces a 3 second delay following every click. If anyone can suggest a solution to these that'd be swell).
I believe what you're looking for is a utility called mousectl.com. It increases speed and improves responsiveness of the mouse in DOS. I used it for Master of Orion 2 not too long ago. You can get it here, but I ran it with XP's DOS emulation using autoexec.nt. As for running it in DOSbox, you're on your own. |
