The few times I've tried to use the updater, it never worked. I just got a new version, though apparently they got bought out by some other company, so I don't know what's happening to it anymore.

Everytime I run it at about the 80% mark I always get some error message when it reaches some german sounding check. The only way to catch most of the spyware is to manually cancel it before it hits that point. What the dill?


No clue on this. I had something similar happen with a virus that was locked away in the virus scanner's vault, but once the vault was cleared, the problem went away. Might be related, but I honestly don't know.
