Dark Age of Camelot's Shrouded Isles is cheaper and better, but on eq2 Mistmoor you get to play with the fucking SA Goons. That's twice I've coincidentally ended up on servers with them, and honestly it might be the second funniest thing about SA. They COMPLETELY dominate the server they play on. They are the good guys, the bad guys, the RPers, the griefers, everybody. There's some kind of secret code to join up but it was hilarious on SWG so I'm back for more. This is in no way an endorsement of Sony's lame games or SA, just funny if you look around in these games, the goons have a very strong sense of community.
On the other hand I played DAOC with OMM and City of Heroes with Qt3 and had a good time, but there we were 'playing right,' where the SA fuckers are there to break shit. Equally amusing for short periods of time.
