Children starve while parents play.... D&D Online? by Zseni 07/18/2007, 10:00am PDT
Patrick Killen, spokesman for Nevada Child Abuse Prevention, said video game addiction's correlation to child abuse is "a new spin on an old problem."

"As we become more technologically advanced, there's more distractions," Killen said. "It's easy for someone to get addicted to something and neglect their children. Whether it's video games or meth, it's a serious issue, and (we) need to become more aware of it."

By the way, that's a gay libertarian Republican in a child welfare position. Irony? Or BDR?

Anyway, what an incredibly shitty story. D&D Online is an unplayable hulk of poops and yet: kids are getting cat piss in their hair over it. There are eight million WOW players but no starved WOW-player children BECAUSE GRYPHON RIDES FREE UP TIME TO TEND TO BASIC NEEDS. DO YOU HEAR ME, CREEXUL?!?? THOSE FUCKING FLIGHT PATHS ARE SAVING LIVES.
