Someone needs to seriously explain why he will put in a four page manifesto against poor MPG vehicles in his weekly football column. I'm not saying he's not qualified to write it or that I disagree with his points, but why the fuck is it in there, bobbing like a piece of shit in a swimming pool? I don't get it. Here's the world we live in - you want a quick column about the games that were, you get:

- Peter King, who can't just talk football, but instead needs to pepper his horrible columns with what a pain it is to be on an airplane and how his latest venture at Starbucks went.

- Paul Zimmerman (Dr. Z) who would rather discuss wine than the games.

- Greg Easterbrook, who will go on at great length about the environment and how unrealistic that one science-fiction show is.

- Bill Simmons, who is the single worst writer in America right now; I can't think of anyone who is worse at his job and less qualified to speak on any subject.

- Len Pasquarelli, who comes across as knowledgeable and informed on the radio, but has never encountered a cliche about a city that he couldn't twist into a stupid turn of phrase for his columns.

Someone is going to make a lot of money someday just writing about the weekend's games in an entertaining fashion without boring the entire world with whatever dumb hobby they secretly enjoy more than football.
