Perhaps this focus on posture is because I don't have much of a chin. As anyone without a chin knows, posture is key to looking good. Good posture keeps the flap of your neck from bunching up under your chin (aka double chin). This phenomenon can occur even in underweight people. In addition to having no chin, I often have bad posture. This is a terrible combo and it would make sense that I seek out girls that don't have this problem.
I wouldn't be too quick to blame the chin. I, um... know a guy who has this same problem, due to an overbite even more minor than yours. He solves it by consciously projecting his lower jaw forward, not so much that he looks like Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys, but just enough to look (something) like Det. Elliot from the Cigarette Burns Unit. Give it a shot! Just be sure to phase in your chin-thrusting gradually, maybe one hour on / one hour off at first, so your loved ones have a chance to adjust. |
