Patch 1.011 and I still can't get more than 25 frames per second in some of these outside environments after several hours of futzing with the graphics options. What the hell is wrong with this company? Did Chris Avellone get his frontal lobes carved out by a back alley lunatic with a scalpel?

I want to like these games since they are the successors to Baldur's Gate and before that the gold box games, but the controls are just so awkward. The first one had an extra mod Hex Coda which wasn't terrible. I haven't played any for nwn2, though I tried some of the persistent worlds people made, and you should avoid them.

Apparently the nwn2 devs had some input on the next version of D&D and things will be better soon, but everytime I reinstall nwn I jsut end up uninstalling it for something else within a day or two.

...I think Vampire: Bloodlines wrecked me for RPG conversions.
