The space elves they chose have either been dropped/on the verge of being dropped by GW because they're terrible and no one buys them, yet everyone wants fucking tyranids and they don't do it. But I dunno, maybe Relic have made them work/cool.
Only 2 armies haven't won their initial battle report in White Dwarf (GW's magazine thing), Dark Eldar and their fantasy counterparts the Dark Elves. Dark Eldar then, I think, went on to be the only army that has never won a battle ever in any report. The units are flimsy as eldar, but without the specialist tough unit and not as shooty.
I think I remember Relic saying that tyranids wouldn't be in Dawn of War or any expansions and they're being saved for Dawn of War 2. Relic are pretty shitty at making good decisions I guess?
Are there any air units in the demo? How'd they work/handle?
I think the Sisters will be like wussier space marines with more fire and morale manipulating stuff |
