War of the Worlds: 1st person (shooter) edition by FABIO 02/10/2008, 6:35am PST Did anyone out there think that War of the Worlds could have been a good movie IF ONLY it was filmed entirely in Blair Witch cam and starred the cast of Dawson's Creek? Someone did. For some reason this movie reminded me of The Poseidon Adventure, which was a movie about repeating the same scene over and over until it was time to end. Watch as our heroes make their way through trashed rubble room #243. Except there was actually an ending and an attempt at some intra-survivor tension with a jewel thief or something. Enter Cloverfield. Most of the scenes could have been randomly shuffled around and it wouldn't have made any difference. Are you on the edge of your seat as our heroes yell at each other while making their way across concrete rubble because the monster magically just happens to be right on top of them again? How about now? And now? What about now? Time's up!
