| The "The Marriage" guy has also just released a game about the creative process etc.: http://rodvik.com/rodgames/SOHMB.html
He introduced it at a GDC session I attended and told us all about what it was supposed to mean so I didn't get to find out whether it would be interesting to attempt to decipher that myself. I might even have figured it out, given the chance! I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it though. But I guess it's like people say--you aren't always supposed to enjoy art? :( On the other hand the last time I read somebody saying that, they said something right afterward about enjoying the enlightenment that comes via one's experience of good, non-enjoyable art. I think some people have a pretty narrow definition of enjoyment, to always be saying you don't really need enjoyment to have a good experience! |
