That's my monitor! It's great! My only fault with it is the status light. It's one of those ultra bright blue LEDs and it blinks to tell you the computer is off. It's powerful enough that I can navigate a fair stretch of my house in the dark without having to turn a light on if I time my movements with the blink, which I don't - I just go hell for leather and tables be damned because that's how I roll. It's become a kind of lighthouse to me on nights I wake up to piss, so I shouldn't be too hard on it, but I don't think it's necessary for an appliance to tell you when it's off. Even a beautiful appliance. I live with it and I think you can too so long as it's not in your bedroom.
