This was the worst part, for sure. I apologized to the main recipient of the drama ahead of time and really braced him for what was to come, so we were squared away by the time yesterday arrived. It's tough to not sound egotistical during those discussions.

However, the sales manager just came out of a 4 hour closed door with the boss and won't look at me.


You deserve to not spend a third of your life in a anti-logic sphere that makes you want to spray piss. You deserve to not live in a reality where you wonder if you are positively affecting the lives of others at all or if this is someone's private joke. You deserve to not spend effort and energy and the Yahwewh-slices of your soul working pointlessly for the ego of others. You are destined for greatness. And I know that this greatness may come during the evenings and weekends that you are not otherwise chained to a worthless company's desk, but at least for now there is the possibility that you can find a way to do what we all dream of: making a difference while at work. I envy you in that. I - many of us - will live vicariously through you in that.
