| Almost all I remember from playing it originally when we rented it for the NES was that it was frustrating bullshit, we couldn't even get the grappling hook to work I think. We were hitting everything, and then eventually an enemy killed us and we were like fuck this shit.
Later I played it on an emulator, and having save states, the game was pretty much a cool running shooting game with some fuckin swinging that was probably totally awesome back in those days and still works quite well today. I have no idea how we didn't get it working then, maybe the controller was broken or the cartridge was fucked up, I dunno (MAYBE WE WERE DUMB RETARDS). |
