| After reading this, I'm not really too sure. His overall point seems to be that he really fucking loves unlocks, I don't know if that's the best basis for an article, but whatever. He says that Quake and Counter Strike really had nothing to back up how great he was at them, I personally don't remember logging into a Counter Strike server where people weren't constantly typing rank. While I was playing on a server with stew he had the enemy saying "Killyou De La Muerte" every time he blew off their heads, so I guess this guy doesn't count simply playing well and impressing people either.
Then I read something that really blew me away "PlanetSide was my first taste of something better", I don't know if he even played the game or for how long, though I don't think anyone who likes FPS games would honestly say this. The next game he talks about is Battlefield 2, so I guess we're supposed to infer he was playing Planetside for two whole fucking years, which is just baffling. He jerks his dick about all the Battlefield 2 achievements, mentions only buying a Xbox 360 when Call of Duty 4 was released because his rig couldn't run it(with absolutely no TF2), and then starts in about how he's gay for 360 achievements in general. Finally he leaves the reading feeling that he's a cunt and maybe has OCD, and concludes with 'FPS games are good, catassing is better, but if you make teamwork based achievements you'll have productive catassing', which is just completely fucking false and undermines the entire reason someone wants 10,000 headshots in CoD 4. |
