| FINALLY got rid of the browser hijack that's been plaguing me for months. After nuking several innocent programs with hijackthis! in an attempt to blow up this Caddyshack gopher, I finally just used CWshredder.
Like any good purges, I must now root out any possible survivors and collaborators. I run Spybot search & destroy and it picks up over two-hundred (!!!) processes not detected by ad-aware. The only thing is that it searches by alphabetical order, and when it hits the W's it always stops with the following error: Error during check! Winpup32 (Ungultiger Datentyp fur ") only there are a few umaults in that German/Swedish/whatever thing. Diagnosis? |
