Wasn't impressed with any of the new abilities, and I'd rather get a boost to fast puncture than slower, AP draining brutal assault. Treachery: I was horribly unimpressed with this at first when I thought that "disrupt spells" meant interrupting a wizard you're wailing on. Then I figured out that it meant "dodge" and fell in love with it just for the "immune to magic for 7 seconds" elixir. For damage it's "kiss of death, feinted position, backstab backstab backstab backstab puncture." Throw in a slit throat or parry every now and then. The real thing I hate about melee is how lag unfriendly it is, the fact that friendly teammates are coated with superglue and cause you to get stuck on them whenever you brush up, and certain scenarios being unplayable for you. Sure you might do 30% more damage than a bright wizard, but he'll be in a position to hit people 300% more often at a safer distance. I'd rather take a nerf and play Nordenwatch. By the time everyone on Destro finally fucking learns how to play it, they level past it. Race to the center. Hey, let's half the team stop to cap the first point and let the other half get slaughtered at the fort! Hey, we just capped the fort, let's advance on the lighthouse and get outspawned! Destro loses all scenarios in t3 except Cemetery. WHY IS THIS |
