I made the mistake of going to the walk-in clinic for my sore hand instead of the emergency room, and now after all the x-rays and consults, I have... an APPOINTMENT to see the surgeon. And not even today! Tomorrow! Tomorrow we find out how many pins! On the upside they gave me the CD with my x-rays to take over to the surgeon. Awesome!
That's exactly the hand sign I would've made, given the choice! So optimistic about the outcome. Maybe they just make you do this one so that you feel better. I would've lost my mind if he next asked me to throw up the devil horns. This whole broken bone thing is yet another stinging indictment of interacting with the world. Caltrops shut-ins: remain inside. It's especially bad mere hours before the Left 4 Dead launch. My only comfort is that I'll still be better than ICJ, who will be playing with the peripheral equivalent of a broken hand -- a trackball or light pen or whatever he uses. |
