The title screen shows a mech-suit, and you do INDEED get to ride this mech-suit at the end of the demo, so kudos for that! Though that's it, it's just F.E.A.R 1, you still slow time, you still blow out people's brains, and that fucking ghost bitch is still after you(in her adult form, she is partially nude, 17+ only please). The major departure is that the AI seems worse. I saw a enemy opening a car door for cover while I was walking past the car door, so I just turned and shot him, really underwhelming.
The game wasn't even scary with half a coffee cup of vodka in me, the stuff that was suppose to pop up and scare you mostly wasn't very sudden or startling. I never played the first game beyond the demo, but it still seems like it's just a FPS where you walk around killing enemy commandos and robots while some fucking retarded ghost haunts you. |
