Double Fine / The Dark Side of Kickstarter

They've passed $538K as I type this up. Now, Double Fine is fairly trustworthy. They've shipped games before and they've been good ones. Not every project that gets funded on Kickstarter is so successful and slime-free. I say this not because I want to denigrate Double Fine, I say this because of the hundreds of articles written about Kickstarter today, nobody else will point out the projects that have taken the money and ran with it.
