Kinda wondering if you were aware that martial arts came out before guns, first off. You should look into that.

and even more so once the treadmill was invented. Your MMA theory also sucks because people do "declare" styles and schools. They say their style is Jiu Jitsu in which they have a BLACK BELT, or their school is Arizona State University where they WRESTLED (hey, where does wrestling come from, BTW?). And then they have great success in MMA.

Yeah but the thing is that they don't have to declare styles or schools, and "school" as in "ASU" means something really different than "school" as in "Shoryu Asuka Langley Akido Doko Est. 1655."

Yes, instead ASU costs twenty times more than four years in the average karate school. That's one difference.

But OK let's discount all the wrestling and boxing being taught at schools, as that's too abstract. The direct comparison to "Shoryu Asuka Langley Akido Doko Est. 1655" is instead: America Top Team, Gracie Jiu Jitsu, Lion's Den, Team Quest, Hammer House, Miletich Fight System, Chute Box, Red Devil Sport Club, Laughter 7... Just because everything is more white trash in MMA, don't mistake that for poor. All of these schools gyms survive on the huge fees paid by weekend warrior lawyers who want to say they've rolled with one of the guys on the next UFC undercard.

Anyway let's not fight, I'd rather cuddle.
