Actually no, I didn't mention anything graphical. Ninebreaker is functionally superior in terms of the execution of its core mechanics over Nexus. Personally, I'm more interested in how a game plays over how it looks.


Nexus: Revolutions. Try to keep up.

In terms of mission content, there's indeed fuck all but it's not meant for that; it's a game based purely on honing a functional aptitude in a versus context


Too bad it doesn't ship with a competent inexpensive versus option, which defeats the fucking point of a game tuned towards multiplayer play. WHY ARE YOU SO OBTUSELY STUPID?

Sub-argument: Because I know you're going to throw it out there, but no, I don't consider two PS2's, two USB cables, two TV's, two controllers, two games, two of fucking EVERYTHING a good multiplayer solution. You know what? If Ninebreaker came with a JEWELLED FUCKING CHALICE I suppose it would be a good buy too!



Silent Line was a lot more balanced than AC3, operated at a faster pace, offered a lot more parts, had a bigger mission mode and crucial had a AI setup that learnt from your skill set (the latter was used in the arena, as all the AC's were based on human player data from the AI setup - so it's rather amusing you thought they were cheating!).


I'm talking about the default arena, not the AI Partner extra, jackhole. And yes, being able to fire grenades on a non-tank or four-legged model without remaining perfectly still is cheating. You're just in your own little fucking world here. I could tell you I really didn't like the taste of the cheese appetizers on Ninebreaker and you'd just nod sagely and continue on arguing about how its weapon balance and part design was magnificent.


The Sawa wasn't an issue in AC3 and AC3SL, it was more the machine-guns that caused a few problems with some players. Removing the stun that the Mk2 had made the Sawa a lot fairer and required more skill in its subsequent usage.
