Most dissapointing game of 2004.
Just to get a reading on his taste in racing games, he goes on to call Eve of Destruction everything that Burnout 3 should have been, and the 2nd best game of 2004.
EoD was concentrated meh. In a game where the entire point is supposed to be demolition derbies, you'd think it'd have satisfying crashes, but the exact opposite is true. Even Twisted Metal Black, where the whole point was missiles and crashing was an afterthought, had more satisdying crashes. EoD goes for the "realistic" demolition derby model where the crashes are gentle nudges at 15 mph. |
