Well I got it. Random first-impression thoughts. by Mischief Maker 02/27/2010, 9:11am PST After tooling around in GTA:CW's technically stunning, but depressingly brown and grey Liberty City, it's nice to play a game that shows off the color range the DS is capable of. Too bad there's zero chance of a Cel-shaded GTA DS game that takes place in Vice City. The plot is so awful even the writers seem embarrassed by it. Every scene seems designed for no other purpose than to get you through the tutorials and into the game proper as quickly as possible. "Hey, kid who just fell out of the sky! That giant monster is about to attack you! Join our adventurer's guild, it's your only chance at survival!" If you acknowledge that your plot is crap, and that the whole point of the game is crafting super-warriors using the expanded job system, why don't you let me construct my party from scratch at the start? Why do people get red-faced angry over the optional law system in this game being arbitrarily restrictive, then in the same breath coo with delight over the "depth" added to Disgaea by the Geo Panels?
