Forum Overview :: The processor wars are hotting up.

So, what the fuck do I have to do to upgrade processors? by Bill Dungsroman 03/01/2005, 5:44pm PST I hear all this CRAZY MYSTERIOUS stuff that I can't possibly understand about needing new drivers and a slew of other things that go over my head. Should I just burn My Documents and all my saved games to CD and buy a new tower, or can I switch out the processor at Best Buy (where I bought my PC) and trust those monkeys not to fuck it up? Or, should I do it at home and probably blow my house up in the process?
