It's not hard.
1. Buy new tower
2. Move hard drives. Old C: should become the new C:. Others don't matter.
3a. Try to boot from hard drive. Probably won't work.
3b. Boot from XP / Win2k CD, select Repair Installation, follow prompts.
4. Boot from hard drive, reapply service packs.
5. Go to Disk Manager, assign drive letters to your other drives.
6. (optional, will speed up boot) Go to Device Manager, click View / Show Hidden, delete all the grayed-out stuff.
All this assumes you aren't using RAID or logical volumes (= software mirroring or striping), in which case it's still not hard, probably, but you're on your own.
