| Dumb plot points and holes you can drive a truck through he just glosses over this time as "Tee hee this is just hardcore nerd stuff, only fags care about it so let's fast forward through this shit". The only good point he makes was that the movie was paint by numbers but then says "Oh well, hopefully with that out of the way they'll learn their lesson and do something new next time" -- because that's what Star Trek has done, right?
He has so much invested in ragging on George Lucas that I don't think he can credibly rag on Episodes 7-9 and is afraid to do so. So instead of that he spends half the thing ranting about an old man who basically hasn't done anything Star Wars related in over 5 years. Let it go, man. |
