That's how it was sold. The reality is that bikeshedding gets upvotes while the "boring" shit that matters sits at the bottom.
They wanted this, this is what they got, it's easy enough to fix. The only thing they have to do now is admit they made a mistake. Okay, it's impossible to fix lol

I have had to attend planning meetings in my career to argue for horrible bugs to get fixed in the current sprint ASAP as no dev or PM gave enough of a shit to just put it in. Posts on a forum are never going to get prioritized.
