Before a bunch of bandits who spent the last 300 years frozen can quickly figure out the manual override switch to counter it? What if the hijack happened to an actual trained enemy? The override cancels it in 2 seconds? So the code goes through, the only thing it can do is briefly lower shields, leaving your only option to fire and destroy the hijacked ships with hostages as quickly as possible? Uhhhh. Why no option to completely disable the ship? If the code was limited to prevent a hostile enemy from completely disabling Starfleet ships, the lowering shields options would still be enough to spell doom. What happened to the rest of Reliant's crew? How was Kahn running the ship? The long standard Starfleet practice of always having the 2-3 most senior command staff on the ship be the ones to beam down to dangerous unknown planets =(
