Are helicopters getting harder to fly, or are they getting so easy that we forget to train people to actually fly them? Or maybe we're using Firefox technology, and none of our pilots speak Russian.
I know I tried to play a PC helicopter sim once (Voxel technology!) and next to reading the Caltrops rants forum it was the worst experience I've ever had in front of a computer. So, maybe it's just too hard to fly helicopters and we should go back to dirigibles.
Whatever the case, so far the score is something like Iraqis 20, Americans 0, and the war hasn't even officially started yet. We need a little more Blackhawk Up, I think. At the very least, can we say the Iraqis have developed weapons of mass helicopter magnetism and are placing them under the sand? That's as good a reason to invade as any. |
