The interview began with the premise that liberal Jewish TV comedian voices were not being represented on the airwaves in 2004. Only Janine Garafalo was allowed on TV and that was only so she could be the target of misogyny. There were also only two left-wing books, one by Michael Moore. So Janine, Al Franken, and the guy being interviewed (he was on Sex in the City?) were united by their opposition to the Iraq War to create the Babylon 5 of radio stations, our last best hope for peace. It failed through mismanagement (not his, he was very explicit about that) and that's how we ended up in this mess, laudablepuss. |
