But seriously, play The Mist on underdogs, I thought it was a better horror text adventure game. Both games have impossible to solve puzzles (ask a guy to give you his gun with no mention or hints that he had a gun beforehand, properly microwaving chinese food). But what was so scary about Lurking Horror? There's a harsh blizzard outside? Viruses taking the guise of demonic rituals on your computer? Cooking chinese food for an oldschool hAxOr geek? Foiling the devious nightshift janitor who's just trying to wax the dam floor? Succumbing to the deadly affects of CAFFEINE WITHDRAWL?
