Re: game list by False 04/09/2003, 3:46am PDT I'll mention Eternal Darkness here as another possibility, though eventually it stopped being scary. I remember the first half of the game having some real freak-my-shit-out moments, and I didn't even get into some of the heavier sanity effects; mainly tromping around the mansion, absolutely sure that something horrible was going to happen to me at any moment and far too aware of my lack of any sort of weaponry or defense. And then, around the middle, when I started being able to cast the big magic stuff and kill everything I saw without any sort of danger, it stopped being scary.
