Good luck with the cross-country move. I did something simillar when I moved from Wisconsin back to Colorado. That involved mailing practically everything that I could over a period of a month, selling my furniture, and getting everything in my apartment cleaned up for the new tennants. I then flew out to Denver, barely making it to the airport in time. The whole opperation was a mess on several counts, but it mostly worked. Obviously, my task was quite a bit easier than yours. Hopefully, you'll manage without too many surprises.
