If you can't beat someone after taking out their weapons factory, ore refinery, and power, then no amount of chronoing will help your weak ass.
I'm not saying the Lighting Storms aren't great, I'm saying I can do it CHEAPER and FASTER with a chronosphere.
That does remind me of another great benefit of the Chronosphere: it's the only defence against Iron Curtained tanks at your doorstep.
And what a counter it is with a 7 minute charge time compared to the iron curtain's 5.
As opposed to the Weather Machine's defence charge time of... Oh, it's useless against the Iron Curtain. Why is the Iron Curtain even involved in this debate? It's not an Allied superweapon. Why not compare the Chronosphere to the BFG while you're at it?
Speaking of flakey Einstein inventions, what was the point of the mirage tank? Slightly higher cost than the grizzly for a slightly higher attack but less speed. "Curses! I had you until that tree ambush took me by surprise and routed my force!" It's a good thing the allies were totally immune to infantry and outclassed the soviets in everything but huge tanks and iron curtains.
The only good use for Mirages is to put three in an ore field and pick off harvesters. |
