Painkiller demos getting progressively more awesome. by Arbit 10/12/2004, 4:00pm PDT If you've already played Painkiller demo 1 and written it off as "circle strafe zombies with the stake gun," I suggest you try demos 2 and 3. Long after you get tired of the Serious Sam old skool style gameplay (so old skool you can't duck!!!!) you will continue to hurl flaming corpses into the air and stake people to walls in hillariously awkward positions. I also like how the engine has a built in bullet-time effect for shitty computers like mine.
