Did you not cringe when the blood started pouring down during the loading screen? How about that heavy metal music that played all throughout the ship sequence and not just at the title screen? When the camera focused squarely on that chick's ass? How about when you found out she's apparently voiced by a 15 year old girl? When her titties flopped? And the coup de grace- when the prince (with his barbed wire armband tatoo) hisses BIIIIIITCH when she cuts his face, with the heavy metal music in the background OMG ROK?
If you answered no to any of these questions you are a gothy prepubescent queer, sorry. There is a certain point when the 'trappings' of the game interfere with the fun, especially when you consider they traded what a lot of people considered the best feature for blood, titties, and metal. The combat may actually be super fun!!! but I spent so much time cringing I didn't have any time to enjoy it. And after I got through the horrendous ship sequence and into the dungeon/sewer, I tried wall running and apparently slipped into some sort of darke goth netherworld, because the screen went black and I died. It wouldn't allow me to retry and like fuck I would endure that ship again, so that is my review: too fucking gay to even bother finishing the demo. |
