"Hey - how come there are two?" Mumbled Jhoh Cable, one unlikely elfin half of the world's premier racing engineering team. He was speaking to the other half, his twin brother Jsoh. Despite being twins, the young men couldn't be less alike: one sported a handsome goatee and a safari-worthy tan, the other was clean-shaven to reveal white skin and a delicate, almost feminine, beauty.
"Two rape whistles?" Jsoh replied. "Well - that is..." Not even two doctoral degrees, one in racing, and one in engineering, could have prepared him for what he was about to say. "They're for - you."
"Me?" Jhoh answered in shock. His arms, thick as logs, and his strong masculine hands, stretched and flexed easily. "But I'm totally hoss! There's no way anyone would ever... you know... rape me!" A cheery grin split his goatee to reveal even white teeth.
"You know what I mean," Jsoh said awkwardly.
"No, I'm afraid I don't. You worry too much, little brother!" Jhoh leaned forward to tousle his brother's satiny hair. Both of them regretted the move instantly. That instant electricity - that electricity which powered their highly successful engineering partnership - was a constant throbbing nemesis, and it leapt up between them like dancing flames. Forgetting about it even for a moment was potentially deadly - some fires, you can't put out. Jhoh backed away, forcing his guilty feelings away from his face - away from his brother. "Well, anyway, have you come up with the new Hachi-Roku plan? McMoo's counting on us, you know!" |
