I'm not sure what would lead you to think that? by Ethan Steele 12/01/2007, 11:15am PST
Other teeth related story: Mum's husband has funny center bottom teeth story goes that a fence panel he was sorting out came up and smacked him in the mowf and broke the jaw there and he didn't go to the dentist and it didn't set properly.

TURNS OUT my dad actually punched him in his face when he saw he was out taking me for a walk when I was little and broke the teeth and jaw and the mess job the dentist did was the best they could do.

Teeth story relating to me: I had braces for years and hated it, they finally came off and 1 week later I got hit in the mouth by a cricket ball, but because I'm a hard bastard it only destroyed two of my teeth (where the seam of the ball went) but the orthodontist just pushed those back into place and then cemented my retainer to my teeth to keep it all sorted, which of course discoloured my lovely carefully looked after teeth. The teeth were meant to die after 6 months, but here I am 6 years later with them still there and alive and kicking but now they are really sensitive to extreme heat and cold.

The whole experience was extra horrible because it turns out I have a condition which makes local anaesthetics really ineffective so after 6 vials of anaesthetics not working (where 1 is meant to be fine) they just went ahead and stitched my lips and gums back together anyway, which really hurt :( (also, this was 7 hours later, thanks NHS!)

Also all the girls that saw me crouched on the floor with blood dripping from my face thought I was having a nose bleed, so for the 2 months I was off school instead of being the death-defying cricket ball mouth catcher badass I was the kid that picked his nose so much it bled during cricket :(
