Alone in the Dark 2008: Should I care about this game? by Fussbett 04/02/2008, 2:16am PDT I've been ignoring the development of Alone in the Dark, and I can be forgiven because who cares? In fact I wouldn't be surprised to hear that it was based on the 2005 Uwe Boll movie. But then I stumbled across some of the media and I'm delighted and interested. Tech Demo 1 Tech Demo 2 The trick to getting excited about this Alone in the Dark is to imagine Die By The Sword weapon swinging set in an awesome Resident Evil 4 world, plus driving and fluid and fire physics. What you don't want to do is think about how much Trespasser sucked. Oh, and your character is apparently immune to fire. So that's a relief.
