| Cutscenes mixed with very sparse tutorial fighting, showing you how to fight, and then fuckin this and that character whining at each other CONSTANTLY. None of it even mattered for a second.
After I wrapped that all up and the game finally gave me a menu, I got to playing, and it was kind of neat, and suddenly easy to pick up. You can avoid enemies all the time if you want, you never have to fight ever, because in order to face enemies you have to click your "player pin" in the lower right, and that brings up like the psychic invisible world of shit where the enemies suddenly become visit. Then you click them to fight them, so you got to hunt them down. When you go into battle, your attacks depend on what pins you have equipped, so if you have the fire pin you just hold down your stylus on an enemy and drag it around and it'll trace a trail of fire around to burn shit up. The pins are variations on that, like one that lets you shove shit around on the battle screen to throw at enemies, one that just slashes, one that fires a bunch of fireballs like you're Mega Man. It's just the tiniest bit reminding me of River City Ransom, just because you wander around the city up and down looking for fights, and you can purchase new attacks and level yourself up by slapping around enemies. I found a fuckin green pig enemy floating around in the hoary netherworld where the enemies are, but couldn't beat him until later when I was able to equip 3 pins instead of just 2, and fuckin leveled up pins from fighting that fuck and got some cool shit and I was like oshi, and suddenly the game was kind of cool. Still, the game's not letting up with the cutscenes, which I frantically click through but try to skim just to make sure it's not trying to teach me how to play the game. Mostly it's just HO HO YOU CANNOT HOPE TO DEFEAT ME same old retarded anime shit you've seen trillions of times before, but anime morons never get tired of because they are fucking infants mentally and emotionally. |
