The key to denouncing a troll is to not fly off the handle about it. You know, not getting trolled. It's not flattering when you make a psycho-admin rage post about your power and how the trolls should JUST STOP. Makes you look like a baby. Having said that, I wasn't trolling in my NON-POST. In my off-the-cuff musings to INC. In fact, I even spelled out my position here. In reaction to my STINGING ACCUSATIONS of glossing over World War V, a normal person might say:
"The site was down at the time, and I hadn't read the IM log ICJ sent me about it. So I didn't know the knowledge of it was as widespread as it was."
Or you can take the "Administrator on an ungrateful forum" tack, wig out, call me a troll and tell me to fuck myself. I can't believe I was dragged into this at all. You can count the number of my posts on Caltrops II with both hands, most are about veronica being a cunt-faced cunt, and none are about you, psycho. Famous recluse Ray of Light has even emerged from his postal code to out-post Fussbett, yet already an admin has felt the need to spell out his power, put his foot down and tell me to fuck off. Unbelievable.

This I'll give you. In my (private) (non-post) instant message I said "LIES" in capital jokey letters. That you took offense isn't my problem -- I didn't think I'd ever have to defend it in the court of BDR. It wasn't lying, just withholding the key juicy detail that Chet was asking for. It was still amusing. I stand by that.
Veronica shut down the site. SB did not. He worked to try to get content back, behind her back. That warrants some credit, and little blame.
This is wrong and I'll address it later. |
